The city matched the grant for a total cost of $19,800<\/p>\n
A total of 2,448 trees were inventoried within city rights-of-way and city parks, giving the community its first clear picture of the public trees in Seminole neighborhoods. For the first time, the city has the data needed to create a comprehensive urban forest management plan that looks beyond individual trees and focuses on the long-term health of the entire canopy. This information will guide future planting, maintenance, and investment decisions. These results will help to create cooler streets, more attractive public spaces, and stronger, more resilient neighborhoods.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Seminole Chamber announces upcoming events The Greater Seminole Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled the following events.
