From well-organized wade-ins to strategic litigation that reached the steps of the United States Supreme Court, this special dives into the battle for integration along Florida’s coastline. It also explores the dangerous swim disparities this exclusion left within the Black community today, and how local water safety advocates are pushing to close the gap.<\/p>\n
