The most popular place in the Cape to enjoy authentic German food and drink is welcoming patrons for the first time in 2026.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The German American Club of Cape Coral will host its first Biergartenfest of the new year this weekend, with two days of delicious eats and refreshing drinks.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This Saturday and Sunday, the Bavarian Gardens will again transform into a place where local live music will play and German hospitality will bring plenty of \u201cGem\u00fctlichkeit.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are very excited to open the Garten for the first time this year,\u201d said GASC spokesperson Holly Jo King. \u201cWe are looking forward to continuing\u00a0an exciting\u00a0year\u00a0after our very successful 40th\u00a0Oktoberfest.\u201d<\/p>\n
Dubbed \u201cThis is How We Do Winter,\u201d guests can enjoy dishes such as crispy schnitzel, savory German sausages, golden potato pancakes, tangy sauerkraut, and authentic German potato salad. For dessert, a variety of cakes will be available to satisfy any sweet tooth.\u00a0<\/p>\n
There will be German and domestic beer on tap, as well as wine and ready-to-drink cocktails.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cFor our springtime fests, guests can expect live music and authentic eats and drinks in our 12-acre, open-air Biergarten, with plenty of seating,\u201d King said. \u201cA stroll around\u00a0the\u00a0Garten path and you\u2019ll\u00a0find vendors and the GALS selling upcycled\u00a0German wares.\u201d<\/p>\n

Shady trees and table seating allow for a perfect\u00a0gathering of friends and family. German food is prepared by German American Social\u00a0Club\u2019s finest. And for this fest, your favorite local bands take the Garten stage so you can dance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Admission is $5 for non-members. Parking is free. Gates open at noon each day.\u00a0<\/p>\n
