Known for combining communal singing, Mexican food and cocktails and theatrical moments, Canta Corazón turns a typical night out into something more emotional—and a little more participatory.

Spanning 4,583 square feet with room for more than 200 guests, the space resembles a classic Mexican hacienda with warm terracotta tones, ranch-style details and dramatic chandeliers. The layout flows between indoor and outdoor areas, anchored by a central patio where mariachi musicians pop up to lead sing-alongs in both English and Spanish. (Guests are encouraged to join in and belt out songs about love, heartbreak, joy and everything in between.)

Photograph: Courtesy of Canta Corazón Miami

The concept draws on deep musical roots through its partnership with members of the Fernández dynasty, the family legacy tied to regional Mexican icon Vicente Fernández and global recording artist Alejandro Fernández. That lineage shapes the venue’s emphasis on storytelling and shared emotion, making the saloon both a nightlife experience and cultural tribute.

Women are greeted with a white rose at the door and one of the evening’s signature moments invites a masked luchador known as El Santo to present white cowboy hats exclusively to women, reinforcing the venue’s identity as “Un Saloon sentimental hecho por y para las mujeres,” a sentimental saloon made by and for women. Elsewhere, unexpected touches, like piñatas, boxing machines and cowboy boots served with a shot inside, all add a playful layer to the night.

Operating Thursday through Sunday from 4pm to 3am, the venue plans to start early with dinner, cocktails and curated music before turning into a full-scale sing-along fiesta. With Taco Tuesday specials, happy hour programming and a focus on connection over traditional club culture, Canta Corazón hopes to carve out a niche that’s somewhere between dinner party, concert and a cathartic group therapy session.

If the concept lands as intended, Wynwood will end up with a place where the loudest sound of the night isn’t a DJ drop, but a room full of voices singing together.

Canta Corazón, a music-driven nightlife concept from Mexico, will make its U.S. debut next month at 250 NW…

[9
2019,123,125,124,23281,687
0":"post-163173","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-miami","8":"tag-categories-restaurants","9":"tag-miami","10":"tag-miami-headlines","11":"tag-miami-news","12":"tag-news-drinking","13":"tag-restaurants
["GET
