Linda herself took piano lessons as a child on a baby grand inside St. Mary\u2019s Academy in The Dalles in the late 1950s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cWell, I didn\u2019t want to get rid of it,\u201d Lynne said. \u201cI just wanted it to have a better home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Moving the piano into the historic structure required careful coordination.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"\u201cI felt very sad that no one\u2019s been playing it for a long time,\u201d Lynne said.
