This is all thanks to Spring trying to come in full force. But winter has other plans, at least in the short-term future for us Central Floridians. <\/p>\n
Your Saturday realized high\u2019s in the upper 80s. While we avoided 90 degrees, I\u2019d imagine if we keep this pattern up we\u2019ll be seeing the big 9-0 pop onto our thermometers sooner than we think. <\/p>\n

Tonight we\u2019re in for a fairly pleasant evening. If you have Saturday night plans, remember to dress light as temps will take a little to come down from the elevated pedestal they were on this afternoon. We\u2019ve also got a touch of mugginess to the air, so prep for sweat. <\/p>\n
Maybe wear a little extra perfume or cologne, and don\u2019t forget the deodorant! <\/p>\n
Tomorrow our afternoon highs will be somewhat more tame, primarily because our next cold front will be sweeping across town during the first half of your Sunday. <\/p>\n

Anticipate some showers and rain in your area between the hours of 7 a.m., shortly after sunrise, till about 2 p.m. in the afternoon. This front will be moving pretty quick, and isn\u2019t as strong as our earlier frontal system so no worries on the thunderstorm or severe weather side of things. <\/p>\n

First, Winter comes to your front door. Winds will pick up throughout Sunday night and into Monday. Dry air rushes in from up north, and temperatures plummet upwards of 40 to 50 degrees in comparison to where we\u2019ve been today and Sunday afternoon. <\/p>\n
The dryness is going to contribute to our expansive and extreme drought set up in Central Florida, which is not good. <\/p>\n
The state is blanketed by fire weather alerts, with red flag warnings coming into effect tomorrow afternoon and fire weather watches arriving Monday (Copyright 2026 by WKMG ClickOrlando – All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n
Fire risks will be very elevated next few days. I\u2019m not seeing any big-time rainmakers in our near future either, so we have to be very cautious. Any spark could set things ablaze, and rapidly. <\/p>\n
If you were hoping the cold was ultimately over, just hang tight through the whiplash. By Wednesday afternoon, we\u2019re back in the 70s. Then into the home stretch towards March 1st, we\u2019re watching temps head for near record territory all over again. <\/p>\n
