The agents reportedly informed her they were in the area running plates before taking her into custody. She was subsequently transported to the Broward Transitional Center, an ICE detention facility located in Pompano Beach.<\/p>\n

The 24-year-old, originally from Colombia, has resided in the United States since the age of 15. Her attorney, Justin Gould, stated that Hernandez-Lucero entered the country legally and is a dependent on a pending asylum case filed through her parents. Additionally, her family asserts that she holds a valid work permit.<\/p>\n

The timing of the detention has caused significant distress for the family, as the couple was scheduled to hold a formal wedding ceremony on February 28. Nicolth is not only a model citizen, but also my deeply loving wife, and her absence has left a huge void in our lives.<\/p>\n

Recently, Nicolth was detained by ICE despite having entered the country legally, holding a valid work permit, and having a pending asylum case. She is currently being held in a detention facility, and the circumstances of her detention have been incredibly distressing for our family and everyone who knows her. The legal process to fight for her release is complex and the fees are rapidly accruing, putting a tremendous financial strain on us during an already difficult time.<\/p>\n

What makes this even more heartbreaking is that we were due to have our wedding ceremony on the 28th of this month. Although we were legally married in December last year, we had been looking forward to celebrating our love with friends and family. Her detainment has taken that special day from us, adding to the pain and uncertainty we are facing.<\/p>\n

In the professional wrestling industry, Hernandez-Lucero is known as Nicolth Lucero. She received her training from WWE Hall of Famer Gangrel (David Heath) at Gangrel\u2019s Wrestling Asylum (GWA) and the Coastal Championship Wrestling (CCW) training facility in South Florida.<\/p>\n

Alongside her sister Tiffany, she competes as one-half of The Lucero Twins. Her career includes a tenure as the GWA Women\u2019s Champion, and she has shared the ring with notable industry veterans, including a title match against former WWE Divas Champion Celeste (Kaitlyn) in 2020.<\/p>\n
