A magazine publisher and ad salesman, Borne once worked on several Mustang-based magazines and belongs to Tampa-area Mustang and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ford.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Ford<\/a> clubs.<\/p>\n<p>He found this \u201966 convertible in Nightmist Blue in 1984 and has since fully restored it. \u201cIt\u2019s not a trailer queen,\u201d he says, noting that he drives it to car shows, where he wins regularly. \u201cIt\u2019s my toy,\u201d he smiles. \u201cI spent as much on a totally correct restoration as I would for a new car.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-38338\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Glenn-B10012025_2283-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1869\"  \/>Glenn Borne and his 1966 Mustang.<\/p>\n<p>His \u201966 Stang shares garage space with a chrome yellow Mustang \u201993 LX convertible. Feeding his Mustang passion, Borne has also owned a \u201965 coupe, a \u201966 GT fastback, another \u201966 fastback with a hot A-code engine, a pair of \u201986 SVOs, a 2001 Bullitt, a replica of the Steve McQueen Mustang from \u201cBullitt,\u201d and a throaty \u201903 Mach 1 that serves as his daily driver. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Got a ride with a story?
