(CBS12)  \u2014 The deaths of two elderly people are under investigation on Tuesday at the Harbour Isle at Hutchinson Island condominium complex, and their son is in custody as a person-of-interest. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/topic\/Fort%20Pierce%20Police%20Department\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Fort Pierce Police Department <\/a>said its actively investigating the scene. Investigators responded Tuesday to the gated community, located on the east side of <a href=\"https:\/\/cbs12.com\/topic\/South%20Hutchinson%20Island\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hutchinson Island<\/a>, after receiving reports that prompted officers to secure the area and begin an active investigation. <\/p>\n<p>Police said that its officers responded to a welfare check at the condominium, upon arrival, officers found two  elderly adults deceased in their residence.
