Jacksonville International Airport is expanding offerings in 2026, with nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale, Puerto Rico and Toronto already announced.<\/p>\n
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 Flyers at Jacksonville International Airport will soon have a new option for intra-Florida travel.<\/p>\n
Breeze Airways announced the addition of a new non-stop route between Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale on Tuesday, which will run every day beginning on July 1.<\/p>\n
\u201cBreeze\u2019s new daily nonstop flights offer travelers a great option to get to South Florida,\u201d Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO Mark VanLoh said. \u201cWe are thrilled they will be flying to Ft. Lauderdale, as its one of the nonstop destinations we get asked most about from the community.\u201d<\/p>\n
One-way flights will start at $49.<\/p>\n
Breeze also added Birmingham, Alabama and Tallahassee to its national network.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The airline added the following flights for travel within Florida:<\/p>\n
Tampa to Fort LauderdaleTallahassee to Fort Lauderdale\u00a0Orlando to Pensacola (existing route increasing frequency)Fort Lauderdale to Pensacola (existing route increasing frequency)Fort Lauderdale to Savannah, Ga. \u00a0(existing route increasing frequency) <\/p>\n
\u201cThe addition of these new cities and routes will give even more travelers the opportunity to save precious hours that would otherwise be spent flying through hubs or driving,” Breeze Airways\u2019 founder and CEO David Neeleman said.<\/p>\n
Jacksonville International Airport is expected to grow in size and offerings this year, with even more new flights planned and a whole new concourse opening.<\/p>\n
