JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Breeze Airways will begin daily nonstop service between Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale on July 1, the airline announced Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Fares for the new route start at $49 one-way, the carrier said.<\/p>\n
\u201cWith this daily service between Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale, we\u2019re providing our Florida Guests with a convenient in-state travel option,\u201d said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways.<\/p>\n
Breeze will operate the route with its Airbus A220-300 aircraft and says the flights will include what the airline calls premium products: free family seating, fast onboard Wi\u2011Fi, preferred seat options and no change or cancel fees.<\/p>\n
The airline described the route as part of its flexible network that connects travelers to underserved cities nationwide.<\/p>\n
