ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 An alligator was discovered at an Orlando apartment complex on Tuesday night, sparking a response by officers, according to the police department.<\/p>\n
In a release, police said they were called to Lake Debra Drive over a \u201cdangerous animal.\u201d<\/p>\n
But upon arrival, officers found a 5-foot-6-inch alligator in the hallway of the complex.<\/p>\n
Video released by the police department shows the officers capturing the alligator and releasing it back into Lake Mann.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo officers or the alligator were injured,\u201d the release reads. \u201cThis incident is a reminder that our officers never know what they\u2019ll encounter on a call, but they are always prepared to get the job done.\u201d<\/p>\n
