Specifically, residency would be available to those earning between 33 to 60 percent of the area median income (AMI).<\/p>\n<p>Under these parameters, rent would be capped at $1,555 a month \u2013 well below the average cost of rent in Hollywood. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rentcafe.com\/average-rent-market-trends\/us\/fl\/hollywood\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">RentCaf\u00e9<\/a> reports that the average rent of an apartment in Hollywood is currently $2,198 a month, a 2.53 percent increase from 2025.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-38302\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-24-at-10.44.43-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"450\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The site formerly hosted an automotive building (pictured). Image from Google Earth<\/p>\n<p>Amenities at Villa Jordana will include (but aren\u2019t limited to) a resort-style swimming pool with barbeque stations, along with a fitness center. There will also be on-site services to assist with housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>Housing Trust Group and AM Affordable Housing are the two developers. The former purchased the project\u2019s 35,030-square-foot property for $3.6 million in 2024. AM Affordable Housing is a Miami-based non-profit founded by former NBA player Alonzo Mourning.<\/p>\n<p>Coral Gables-based Realization Architects designed the community. Ballast Construction is the general contractor and intends to finish Villa Jordana in spring 2026.
