{"id":168812,"date":"2026-02-25T16:43:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T16:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/168812\/"},"modified":"2026-02-25T16:43:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-25T16:43:09","slug":"global-property-manager-acquires-st-pete-firm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/168812\/","title":{"rendered":"Global property manager acquires St. Pete firm"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Odevo, a global residential property management company, said it has acquired Professional Bayway Management (PBM) in St. Petersburg and Seacrest, a Florida-based operator with offices on both coasts, expanding its footprint in what it described as its largest U.S. market.<\/p>\n<p>The company announced the transactions Feb. 25. Seacrest, founded in 1975, manages 566 clients and approximately 49,000 units across Florida, according to Odevo. PBM, founded in 1984, serves the greater Tampa Bay metro area, managing 109 clients and more than 9,100 units.<\/p>\n<p>Terms were not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>Odevo said both companies will remain locally led while gaining access to its technology platforms and shared services.<\/p>\n<p>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/tampa-bay-real-estate-news\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TAMPA BAY REAL ESTATE NEWS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeacrest and PBM have impressed us,\u201d Daniel Larsson, CEO of Odevo, said in the release. \u201cBoth organizations have strong teams and a clear commitment to customer service, and they strengthen our Florida footprint.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Seacrest will continue under Steven Harshman, president of Seacrest Services, and Bryan Fowler, president of Seacrest Southwest. PBM\u2019s portfolio is concentrated in residential community associations across the region.<\/p>\n<p>Newton said the partnership gives PBM additional resources while preserving its identity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoining Odevo felt like finding the right long-term partner, not just completing a transaction,\u201d Newton said in the release. \u201cFrom the beginning, it was clear they respect what we\u2019ve built at Professional Bayway Management over 42 years and want to help us scale it, not change who we are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TAMPA BAY BUSINESS NEWS<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seacrest leaders emphasized operational support and expanded capabilities.
