Orlando\u2019s Dolly Parton fans can soon step away from their 9-to-5s and straight into Dollywood.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A limited specialty flight, courtesy of Allegiant Airlines, will take passengers from the Orlando area to the Dolly Parton-infused amusement park later this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The more, ahem, august Orlandoans among us will fondly remember Parton\u2019s previous foray into Orlando tourism \u2014 the Dixie Stampede dinner-and-a-show attraction on Vineland that ran from 2003 to 2008 before sadly shuttering. (Think Medieval Times crossed with Dollywood.) This themed flight is as close as Orlando will get to having some of Parton\u2019s rhinestone-bedecked magic in our city limits, unless she ever comes through on tour again.<\/p>\n

Flight No. 925, named after Parton\u2019s 1980s hit \u201c9 to 5,\u201d will take off for the first time on Nov. 6, departing from Orlando Sanford International Airport and landing at Knoxville, Tennessee\u2019s McGhee Tyson Airport. This glammed-up and Dollyfied version of Allegiant\u2019s usual nonstop flights to Knoxville \u00a0will continue throughout November.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Flight 925\u2019s Smoky Mountain trip comes with exclusive Dollywood-themed gate decor, merchandise, trivia, food, beverages and live performances.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The flight\u2019s November timing aligns with Dollywood\u2019s Smoky Mountain Christmas Event, which is the 15-time winner of the Golden Ticket Award\u2019s Best Theme Park Christmas Event. <\/p>\n

Allegiant and Dollywood will announce additional flight-specific benefits for the Christmas Event as the date approaches.\u00a0 <\/p>\n
