TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – The project schedule for the Market District construction has been changed to further expedite construction, including the roundabout at Maclay Boulevard and Maclay Commerce Drive, according to the City of Tallahassee.<\/p>\n
Last week, it was announced that construction has moved to the next step<\/a> to start construction between Maclay Commerce Drive and Maclay Boulevard. <\/p>\n Now, work on the roundabout will begin on March 2. The city says the revision to the plan comes after a request from the Market District Business Association. <\/p>\n Work on the roundabout will close the intersection of Maclay Boulevard and Maclay Commerce Drive. Additionally, Maclay Commerce Drive east of the intersection will close from Maclay Boulevard to Financial Plaza Drive. <\/p>\n More Tallahassee news: <\/p>\n Construction on the roundabout is expected to take six weeks, according to the city. <\/p>\n Customers can access business on Maclay Commerce Drive west of the intersection via Martin Hurst Road. Customers can access Sage restaurant and the Florida Court Clerks & Comptrollers Association building via Mosswood Chase.
