Have you ever gone to a friend’s house and there wasn’t any room to park in the driveway? There are many reasons why someone would park on the side of a road, but is it legal to park in front of someone’s house in Florida?<\/p>\n

According to Florida Statute 316.1945<\/a>\u00a0vehicles cannot park in front of a public or private driveway, but it is legal to park in front of someone’s home.<\/p>\n

Stuart Police spokesperson Lt. Brian Bossio said people should be aware of their city and county ordinances. Depending on where you live, parking in certain areas, could result in a ticket or even getting your car towed.<\/p>\n
