TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on firearm charges stemming from a shooting in Quincy, according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n
Sincere Perkins, 25, was convicted<\/a> of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a machine gun in Nov. 2025. <\/p>\n Perkins was arrested by the U.S. Marshal\u2019s Fugitive Task Force at a Tallahassee apartment for an outstanding warrant, according to court records. <\/p>\n More on crime in our area: <\/p>\n Officers searched the apartment and found several guns, including a pistol modified to fire as a machine gun, the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office wrote in a press release. <\/p>\n Ballistics from two of the weapons found in the apartment matched shell casing from a shooting in Quincy where two teenagers were shot. <\/p>\n Perkins DNA was found on both guns that had been used in the shooting, according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n At sentencing, the judge found that Perkins had been one of the shooters, the press release said. <\/p>\n To keep up with the latest news as it develops, follow WCTV on Facebook<\/a>, Instagram<\/a>, YouTube<\/a>, Nextdoor<\/a> <\/a>and X<\/a> (Twitter<\/a>).<\/p>\n Have a news tip or see an error?
