{"id":170532,"date":"2026-02-26T20:58:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-26T20:58:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/170532\/"},"modified":"2026-02-26T20:58:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-26T20:58:08","slug":"authorities-detain-landscapers-near-fort-lauderdale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/170532\/","title":{"rendered":"Authorities Detain Landscapers Near Fort Lauderdale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Authorities were seen detaining landscapers along a road in Plantation, Florida, located about five miles west of Fort Lauderdale, on Thursday, February 26.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Florida resident Brennan Banks captured this footage near his home on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThis is happening right now in front of my home in Plantation, Florida,\u201d Banks told Storyful. \u201cTwo have been arrested, one is in an ambulance with a bloody face.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Banks added that there was a fourth man authorities were searching for.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This footage shows several vehicles with flashing lights next to a landscaping truck along West Broward Boulevard. Men wearing face coverings and tactical vests can be seen detaining a person in a white hat and first responders can be seen attending to a person on a stretcher. Near the end of the video, a person wearing a state trooper vest can be seen.
