DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) — One man is dead and another is in custody after a shooting at a Durham restaurant.<\/p>\n

It happened just after 4:45 p.m. at Randy’s Pizza, 5311 S. Miami Blvd. Responding officers found a man with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

Durham Police said a man was taken into custody.<\/p>\n

DPD’s Mobile Command Unit and other officers remain at the scene, which is in a strip shopping center.<\/p>\n

ABC11 spoke with the owner of Randy’s Pizza, who said he was out of state and was just getting details about the incident.<\/p>\n

A visibly distraught employee who was leaving the restaurant told ABC11 that he just “wanted to go home.”<\/p>\n
