The ex-fiancee of Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/a> wide receiver Tez Johnson has accused him of cheating on her the same day that he asked her to marry him.<\/p>\n

Laila Thompson-Wainer has given her side of the story over their split on her TikTok<\/a> account, a little over a year after Johnson got down on one knee.<\/p>\n

She claims that Johnson sent sexually explicit messages to his ex-girlfriend on the morning of the proposal and even after she said yes to being his wife.<\/p>\n

‘I was 90 percent sure he was going to propose that day, there were all these little hints,’ she reflected. ‘We went for a photoshoot… he gets down on one knee, my cheeks hurt so much from smiling.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘Now, knowing what I know now, this was his timeline. He woke up, texted his ex-girlfriend. Then proceeded to go through the same day I did, gets down on one knee, we commit to each other for the rest of our lives, marriage, crazy concept.<\/p>\n

‘Then we get home from our engagement dinner and he texts her this.’<\/p>\n

Johnson, 23, plays as a wide receiver in the NFL for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers<\/p>\n

Thompson-Wainer shared what appeared to be screenshots of the sexual messages she says Johnson sent to his ex-girlfriend on the day that they got engaged.<\/p>\n

‘I’ve given up trying to understand how someone can be that evil,’ she added. ‘I think you have to be a sociopath and that is just it at the end of the day.’<\/p>\n

Johnson was taken in the seventh round of last year’s NFL Draft and enjoyed an encouraging rookie season in Tampa.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old scored five touchdowns in 16 appearances for his team but they failed to make the postseason.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Remarkably, Thompson-Wainer is also involved in the NFL, working as a community operations coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks.<\/p>\n

The Seahawks, of course, are the team of the moment after beating the New England Patriots 29-13 at the Super Bowl in February.<\/p>\n

Johnson, who is on a four-year, $4.3million deal with the Bucs, has not responded to the claims made by\u00a0Thompson-Wainer.<\/p>\n

She doesn’t appear ready to back down any time soon.<\/p>\n

Johnson had a promising first season with the Bucs, scoring five touchdowns for the team<\/p>\n

‘If I can make one woman feel seen, heard, or understood, help in a healing journey, then I\u2019ve done what I set out to do,’ she said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘If I had to deal with a bad fiance, I would use what I learned about a bad man to spark conversations about healing and build a community of women.<\/p>\n

‘That’s what I want this platform to be about. It is all about community. There is a lot to say about that man and the story will come out eventually. This is just me reflecting on a year ago.\u00a0<\/p>\n
