On February 16th 2026, Karin McLaughlin of Pompano Beach, FL, passed away at the age of 70 after a long and courageously fought battle with cancer.<\/p>\n
Karin was born on January 26th 1956 in Chicago, Illinois. She was a beloved mother and loyal friend with a curious nature and creative spirit. Karin loved music, dancing, art, and learning new skills that she was always excited to share with everyone she touched. Her greatest joy in life was her children and the pride she felt to see them grow was unsurpassed. She was a kind and beautiful soul who will live in our hearts forever.<\/p>\n
Karin is survived by life partner Steve Paul, her daughters Elise Berg, Julia (Jonathan) Pintaluga, and her son Daniel Berg. She is also survived by her former husband Larry Berg, her sisters Kathleen McLaughlin, Kitty McLaughlin Stephan, and Karie McLaughlin.<\/p>\n
Karin is preceded in death by her parents, William McLaughlin, Constance (Nee Connors) McLaughlin, and beloved brother William McLaughlin.<\/p>\n
A Celebration of Life for Karin to include extended parties will be planned in March.<\/p>\n
