Indycar Menu Scott McLaughlin and Marcus Ericsson set the front row. 100 laps of open wheel racing are up next\u2026<\/p>\n St. Pete Green flag, McLaughlinb is clear before turn one. Marcus Armstrong, Mick Schumacher and Sting Ray Robb are tangled in turn four, caution.<\/p>\n Green, McLaughlin leads Ericsson into turn one. <\/p>\n Lap 12, David Malukas picks up a flat tire. He comes to a stop in the runoff area.<\/p>\n Lap 23, Will Power heads to the pit lane with suspension damage after tagging the wall. He climbs from the car and he\u2019s done for the day.<\/p>\n Lap 27, Christian Rasmussen spins with help from Kyffin Simpson, no caution.<\/p>\n Lap 35, McLaughlin pits for the first time. A lap later, Ericsson also dives for the pit lane. Ericsson cycles out just in front of McLaughlin! Palou is in front of both of them after pitting on lap 26.<\/p>\n Lap 40<\/p>\n Lap 40, Scott Dixon has lost the right rear wheel after a pit stop. The caution is out.<\/p>\n Green, Palou leads Ericsson and McLaughlin trail him into turn one.<\/p>\n Lap 63, Palou is driving away. He leads Ericsson by 10.8 seconds. <\/p>\n Lap 65, McLaughlin has a run on Ericsson into turn one. He dives inside and outbrakes him, McLaughlin to 2nd.<\/p>\n Lap 68, Palou pits from the lead. A lap later, McLaughlin heads for the pit lane. He attempts to block Kirkwood on cold tires, Kirkwood slips by. <\/p>\n Lap 78, Palou leads Kirkwood by 6.2 seconds. <\/p>\n 10 to go, Palou leads Kirkwood by 9.5 seconds. <\/p>\n 7 to go, McLaughlin has a run on Kirkwood. He dives inside and takes 2nd away.
