HM Restaurant Group has promoted Reyes Martinez to general manager of Dixie Fish Company, its popular seafood restaurant currently ranked Tripadvisor\u2019s No. 1 restaurant in the Fort Myers area. Martinez has spent his nine-year tenure with the company at Doc Ford\u2019s Rum Bar & Grille\u2019s Fort Myers Beach and St. Petersburg Pier locations.<\/p>\n

\u201cReyes has been a valuable employee for nearly a decade and is a great addition to the Dixie Fish Company team,\u201d said Joe Harrity, a partner with HM Restaurant Group, which manages the restaurant. \u201cHe\u2019s an established leader who is dedicated to upholding our high standards for stellar food and customer service.\u201d <\/p>\n

Martinez is a certified guest service professional, completing the requirements in 2025.<\/p>\n

Founded in 2015, Dixie Fish Company is renowned for its legendary service, delicious fresh seafood and made-to-order, made-from-scratch menu. An original Florida fish house, the restaurant\u2019s origins date back to 1937 when it was primarily a fish market. Recognized as a 2023 Yelp Top 100 Florida Restaurant, the waterfront restaurant honors its history by serving the catch of the day and signature best-sellers, including apple moonshine- and white wine-spiked mussels, grouper \u201ccheeks,\u201d grouper Reuben sandwiches, whole fried fish and Yucat\u00e1n shrimp.<\/p>\n
