Repaci, 55, was described by Fort Pierce police as a person of interest in the double homicide.<\/p>\n<p>Police also identified the parents as 85-year-old Philip Repaci and 80-year-old Joan Repaci. Both lived at Harbour Isle at Hutchinson Island condominium complex in Fort Pierce. It was not immediately clear if the younger Repaci lived with his parents.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-229165\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-229165\" title=\"Philip Repaci\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Philip-Repaci-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Philip Repaci\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\"  \/><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-229165\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Philip Repaci PHOTO CONTRIBUTED BY INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SHERIFF\u2019S OFFICE<\/p>\n<p>The younger Repaci was arrested Tuesday on a charge of fleeing an officer in Indian River County. Repaci remained held Wednesday at the Indian River County Jail on a $150,000 bond.<\/p>\n<p>Repaci has not yet been charged in connection with the death of his parents.<\/p>\n<p>Fort Pierce police responded to a welfare check about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at the parents\u2019 home located in Harbour Isle at Hutchinson Island, east of U.S. 1 and west of Jetty Park. A family member who requested the welfare check told officers that the parents had missed an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>Police found the bodies of the elderly couple in the living room. Both had multiple gunshot wounds, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>The younger Repaci left the home before police arrived, according to officers. Police issued a BOLO, or a be-on-the-lookout alert, for Repaci\u2019s vehicle. Repaci traveled north into Indian River County.<\/p>\n<p>Indian River County deputies spotted Repaci\u2019s vehicle headed westbound along Oslo Road. A patrol deputy used a PIT maneuver by tapping the rear of the vehicle, causing it to spin to a stop, according to Lt. Kevin Jaworski, a spokesperson for the Indian River County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies detained Repaci and booked him into the Indian River County Jail.<\/p>\n<p>Those with more information about the double homicide should contact the Fort Pierce Police Department at 772-467-6800.
