Cartoon rock stars Gorillaz return to Orlando to kick off their North American tour this fall. Maybe leader Damon Albarn is a big theme park fan?<\/p>\n

The last (and first) time Gorillaz played the City Beautifu<\/a>l was the final date of their first U.S. run, back in 2022. This time they\u2019re doing the exact opposite \u2014 fittingly, for a quartet of animated post-modern rockers that upend so many pop orthodoxies \u2014 and playing the first show of their tour at the Kia Center.<\/p>\n

This tour, in support of newest India-inspired album The Mountain, starts in mid-September in Orlando and ends up in Seattle on Halloween night. The only other Florida show is in Miami. Touring openers are Little Simz and Deltron3030.<\/p>\n

Gorillaz play the Kia Center<\/a> on Thursday, Sept. 17. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 9, through Ticketmaster.<\/a><\/p>\n
