Participants are encouraged to bring their own activities, such as books, picnic supplies, musical instruments, sports equipment, or anything else that helps them enjoy the space, said William Kelley, the BID\u2019s executive director.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0Select Sundays may include acoustic musicians or artists painting live, but the emphasis remains intentionally minimal, he said. The goal is to offer a relaxed place to slow down, connect with neighbors, and spend time outdoors without the feeling of a street fair.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are testing what it means to be public space,\u201d Mr. Kelley said. \u201cWynwood has long been defined by its energy and creativity, but like many former industrial neighborhoods, it wasn\u2019t built with much room to simply unwind.
