PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 The Port St. Lucie Police Department<\/a> wrangled up two more speedsters, one of whom officers claim was weaving through traffic because he was running late to his haircut appointment. <\/p>\n

PSLPD officers <\/a>were patrolling St. Lucie West and U.S. Highway 1 this week when they arrested two alleged reckless drivers, Luis Serpas and Desmond Cunningham. <\/p>\n

Cunningham, 19, was arrested for driving recklessly on St. Lucie West Boulevard after speeding and weaving out of traffic. PSLPD officers claim Cunningham was running late for his haircut appointment. <\/p>\n

When officers performed a traffic stop, they discovered Cunningham had a suspended driver’s license and a history of several traffic citations. Police say he was arrested and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail. <\/p>\n

Police say 26-year-old Serpas was found to be driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding, driving without a valid license, and resisting an officer without violence. <\/p>\n

PSLPD said Serpas had a strong odor of alcohol that was emitting from him and was also taken to the St. Lucie County Jail. <\/p>\n

His vehicle was towed, PSLPD said. <\/p>\n
