The Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans<\/a> will face off against the Dr. Krop Lightning<\/a> at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hialeah-Miami Lakes is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.<\/p>\n Hialeah-Miami Lakes took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Miami with a sharp 9-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three games by eight runs or more so far this season.<\/p>\n Diego Lopez<\/a> was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter’s box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.<\/p>\n In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Felix Puello<\/a>, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That’s the most stolen bases he has posted since back in March of 2025. Julio Fragoso<\/a> was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Hialeah-Miami Lakes always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Miami only posted an OBP of .120.<\/p>\n North Miami Beach hit Dr. Krop with a four-run first inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Lightning came up short against the Chargers, falling 10-3. That’s two games in a row now that the Lightning have lost by exactly seven runs.<\/p>\n Hialeah-Miami Lakes’ win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dr. Krop, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.<\/p>\n Hialeah-Miami Lakes might still be hurting after the 8-0 defeat they got from Dr. Krop when the teams last played back in April of 2021.
