(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; The Charlotte County Sheriff\u2019s Office has issued blanket trespass orders for areas around Cook Brown Road and a location referred to as the \u201cPower Lines,\u201d the agency announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The sheriff\u2019s office cited recent disturbances in the area as the reason for the orders, including the use of recreational motorized vehicles and loud parties.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2026\/03\/05\/port-charlotte-man-arrested-out-of-county-warrant-following-venice-bomb-threat-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/2026\/03\/05\/port-charlotte-man-arrested-out-of-county-warrant-following-venice-bomb-threat-investigation\/\">Port Charlotte man arrested following Venice bomb threat investigation<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The agency also referenced a disturbance \u201cduring which an individual was shot with a firearm,\u201d according to the alert. The alert did not provide details about when the shooting occurred, where it took place, whether anyone was injured, or whether arrests were made.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">CCSO also warned that campfires remain prohibited under the county burn ban.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Deputies will begin stepped-up enforcement in the area starting March 7, 2026.
