\nThe spring break season brings in over 70,000 visitors to the airport
\nThe new changes include shuttles, real-time security wait times, TSA precheck touchless ID and more<\/p>\n
TPA says this time of year is one of the busiest. They see over 70,000 people come through its gates, and they want to make that experience stress-free.<\/p>\n
Greta Bunn was welcomed by her family, whom she is visiting for a week. She\u2019s a frequent traveler, so she knows how busy this time of the year can get.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s why\u00a0TPA\u00a0has opened its new airside shuttles; introduced real-time security wait times, and a new TSA precheck touchless ID.<\/p>\n
For Bunn, the Tampa airport has always been one of her favorites, and with the additions, it has made her travel experience better.<\/p>\n
“I think it\u2019s awesome that they are continuing to work on it,” she said. “Every time I think that our airport is really nice, I come back and there\u2019s something new and something made to help everyone have an easier travel experience.”<\/p>\n
The airport has also added the option to reserve parking in advance for visitors to book parking at least 24 hours ahead for a discounted rate.<\/p>\n
TPA says the peak travel season is going on now until April 18.
