(WSMV) &#8211; A Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was diverted to Atlanta after a possible security matter, according to Southwest Airlines Media.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Southwest Airlines said Flight 2094 landed safely at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Friday evening after diverting.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Atlanta police removed one customer from the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"link | text-reset d-block h-100 w-100\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wsmv.com\/page\/our-apps\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_self\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"WSMV - template image\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PYQCNXWUIVE27BALA565ZY2LFQ.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"199\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Passengers on Flight 2094 were reaccommodated on another aircraft and continued to Fort Lauderdale, arriving just before 3:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Our sister station WANF reported that, according to FBI Atlanta, an investigation determined there was no credible threat and no charges were filed against the person detained.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWe have reached out to all of the Customers to apologize for the situation,\u201d Southwest Airlines said in a statement. \u201cWe appreciate the professionalism of our flight crew and sincerely apologize to our customers for the significant delay.
