{"id":182609,"date":"2026-03-07T23:46:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-07T23:46:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/182609\/"},"modified":"2026-03-07T23:46:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-07T23:46:07","slug":"builders-cares-bbq-bands-brew-returns-to-caloosa-sound-amphitheater-on-march-28-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/182609\/","title":{"rendered":"Builders Care\u2019s\u00a0BBQ, Bands &#038; Brew\u00a0returns to Caloosa Sound Amphitheater on March\u00a028"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lee BIA Builders Care\u2019s popular BBQ, Bands &amp; Brew fundraising event is returning Saturday, March 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at\u00a0Caloosa\u00a0Sound Amphitheater in downtown Fort Myers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>During the 15th\u00a0annual event, Southwest Florida\u2019s top pit masters will compete for the title of \u201cBest BBQ in Town,\u201d accompanied by a lineup of live musical performances, numerous vendors and fun-filled activities for all ages, including\u00a0a children\u2019s play area with a bounce house, balloon artist, face painting, games and more.\u00a0The event will be emceed by\u00a0Jason \u201cBig Mama\u201d Jones.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The growing list of competing pit masters includes Big Smoke BBQ &amp; Catering, Gator Creek BBQ Company, Herb\u2019s BBQ and Rubs, Not Your Mama\u2019s Kitchen, Smokin\u2019 Crow\u2019s BBQ and The Fat Cowboys. Additional\u00a0sweet treats will be available from\u00a0Kona Ice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Four bands will take the stage throughout the day, including Riverside from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., Deb &amp; The Dynamics from 1:15 to 2:30 p.m., Crossfire Creek from 3 to 4:15 p.m.\u00a0and\u00a0Hair Daze from 4:45 to 6 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Proceeds from the event support Builders Care\u2019s mission to provide emergency construction services at no cost to needy and deserving elderly and\/or disabled homeowners, and their families, who cannot obtain repairs through traditional means. To date, Lee BIA Builders Care has helped more than 500 Lee County households and provided over\u00a0$6 million in emergency construction services and materials at no cost to families and local homeowners in need.
