TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A gas station on West Orange Avenue was on fire early Sunday morning, according to a press release from the Tallahassee Fire Department.<\/p>\n
TFD responded to the fire at about 3:14 a.m. and said it involved a Marathon gas station. <\/p>\n
The department said the building was \u201cfully involved in fire\u201d when they arrived, but there were no occupants as the building was closed.<\/p>\n
TFD said no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cDue to the extent of the fire and concerns about structural stability, firefighters initially operated in a defensive attack from the exterior before making limited access to the structure as conditions improved,\u201d TFD said.<\/p>\n
The fire was reportedly under control in one hour. Responding agencies included the Tallahassee Police Department, City of Tallahassee Utilities and Leon County EMS.<\/p>\n
TPD temporarily blocked portions of West Orange Avenue until about 10 a.m. Sunday morning. <\/p>\n
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Florida State Fire Marshal\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
