JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to an early Sunday morning shooting in the Lakawanna neighborhood that left a man injured.<\/p>\n
Police were called to Ryan Avenue, just off Edgewood Avenue, around 4:40 a.m. in response to calls about gunshots.<\/p>\n
When they arrived, they did not find any witnesses or victims, but found more than a dozen shell casings.<\/p>\n

A little later, a man was dropped off at the hospital, where he was treated for injuries to the thigh and finger. <\/p>\n
JSO said he is expected to recover.<\/p>\n
Police said the man was standing in the road on Ryan Ave when he was shot, but did not give more details surrounding the circumstances, as the investigation is early.<\/p>\n
No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n
