A Southwest Airlines flight from Nashville to Fort Lauderdale was forced to divert to Atlanta on Friday evening after a possible security concern on board.<\/p>\n

Flight 2094 landed safely at Hartsfield\u2011Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where law enforcement boarded the aircraft and removed a passenger. Video circulating on social media shows tense moments inside the cabin as passengers were instructed to put their heads down and raise their hands while armed officers entered the plane.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe appreciate the professionalism of our Flight Crew and sincerely apologize to our Customers for the significant delay,\u201d a Southwest spokesperson said in a statement to the Miami Herald.<\/p>\n

Atlanta police removed the customer from the aircraft, but WANF in Atlanta<\/a> reports that FBI Atlanta found no credible threat and no charges were filed. It is unclear what caused the security concerns.<\/p>\n

Passengers boarded another aircraft operating under the same flight number and continued on to Fort Lauderdale, arriving just before 3:30 a.m. Saturday, according to Southwest.<\/p>\n
