FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) \u2014 The Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD) is seeking a man who is accused of robbing a Truist Bank. <\/p>\n
At about 12 p.m. on Thursday, FPPD responded to a robbery at the Truist Bank, located at 700 Virginia Avenue. The investigation revealed, that a masked man entered the bank, handed a note to a teller demanding money and told the clerk he was armed. <\/p>\n
Police say the clerk gave an undisclosed amount of money to the suspect who fled on foot, heading north through the bank parking lot. <\/p>\n
