TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Students at Apalachee Tapestry Magnet School of the Arts are bringing imagination to the stage with their production of \u201cMatilda the Musical Jr.\u201d<\/p>\n
The production is based on the novel Matilda by Roald Dahl and adapted from the Tony Award\u2013winning Broadway production.<\/p>\n
The story follows an extraordinary young girl armed with a vivid imagination and brilliant intellect who dares to stand up to the tyrannical Miss Trunchbull and take control of her own destiny.<\/p>\n
Auria Flack, who plays Matilda, Rhema Isham, who plays Miss Honey, and Bryan Mitchell, the director, joined us to discuss upcoming performances<\/p>\n
