{"id":184519,"date":"2026-03-09T18:41:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-09T18:41:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/184519\/"},"modified":"2026-03-09T18:41:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-09T18:41:09","slug":"former-executive-accused-of-stealing-millions-arraigned-in-pinellas-county-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/184519\/","title":{"rendered":"Former executive accused of stealing millions arraigned in Pinellas County Court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 A man accused of stealing more than $2 million dollars from the Pinellas County business where he served as CFO was arraigned in court on Tuesday, where a judge entered his plea of not guilty as he doesn&#8217;t have an attorney yet.<\/p>\n<p>10 Investigates was first to report in February that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtsp.com\/article\/news\/investigations\/10-investigates\/jeffery-crane-money-laundering-largo-bluewater-studios\/67-146fdd39-af9a-4315-8c1f-1fd0b961a8d7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Jeffery Crane<\/a>, 47, was charged with money laundering, scheming to defraud and criminal use of personal ID info charges.<\/p>\n<p>Crane had been working for Largo-based Bluewater Media when CEO Andy Latimer said he stole from investment and rolling accounts that helped fund employee bonuses.<\/p>\n<p>Court records say Crane used company funds for \u201chigh-end restaurants, hotels, flights, limousine services and adult entertainment establishments.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>His next court date was set for Monday, April 6.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
