Photo June 2025 Broward County mugshot of Christina Nikitich. (BSO) <\/p>\nMIAMI \u2014 After a night of Don Julio tequila and a quick hookup, police say a Miami man realized his $9,000 Cartier watch had left the building \u2015 along with his date.<\/p>\n
The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 20, 2023, but the suspect wouldn\u2019t be arrested until Saturday: Christina Nicole Nikitich, 35, of Hallandale Beach, is now facing a grand theft charge.<\/p>\n
According to an arrest report from the Miami Police Department, the victim met Nikitich \u201cat an unknown bar\u201d and, after buying the tequila, went back to his unit at the Vizcayne building at 244 Biscayne Blvd., across from Bayside Marketplace.<\/p>\n
Police said surveillance video showed Nikitich, then 33, holding the box of Don Julio as she and the victim entered the downtown apartment.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe victim stated that when they arrived at the apartment, they continued consuming alcohol and had sexual intercourse,\u201c the MPD report states. \u201dWhile they were having sexual intercourse, the victim removed his Cartier watch and placed it on the counter in his office. Shortly after, (Nikitich) went to the restroom and when she returned she began to act nervous.\u201d<\/p>\n
According to the report, the victim told detectives that she then left \u201cin a hurry\u201d and he soon noticed his gold watch was gone; by the time he went downstairs to look for her, so was Nikitich. <\/p>\n
The two had been in the apartment for just about 40 minutes, police said.<\/p>\n
Authorities said they were able to identify Nikitch, who\u2019s also known by the alias \u201cDana Amidoin,\u201d through fingerprints left on a living room glass table and the Don Julio bottle.<\/p>\n
She was taken into custody at the MPD downtown headquarters just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday.<\/p>\n
Records show that she had two outstanding warrants for two separate Miami-Dade cases involving charges of grand theft and strong-armed robbery \u2015 the details of which weren\u2019t available as of Monday afternoon. <\/p>\n
She also had a warrant out for a probation violation stemming from a felony hit-and-run conviction. That meant that she was being held without bond in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of Monday afternoon.<\/p>\n

But these aren\u2019t her only pending cases in South Florida.<\/p>\n
Back in Broward County, Nikitich is accused of another \u201cbad date\u201d-related crime.<\/p>\n
According to Fort Lauderdale police, a man reported that he went out for drinks at YOLO Restaurant at 333. E. Las Olas Blvd. on the night of Nov. 29, 2024 and met a woman named \u201cChristina\u201d \u2015 later identified as Nikitich.<\/p>\n
An arrest report states that the last thing he remembered was having a drink with \u201cChristina\u201d and waking up the next morning, fully clothed. He believed he was drugged<\/p>\n
Police said Nikitich stole a Ford Explorer \u2015 which happened to belong to the man\u2019s girlfriend \u2015 from the apartment complex\u2019s garage and wrecked it in Miami at around 5 a.m. and ran away from the crash scene.<\/p>\n

According to the report, the man told investigators that that when his girlfriend \u201cwent to recover her vehicle his wallet was located within, but his phone and $200-$300 cash (were) missing.\u201d<\/p>\n
Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office records show she was arrested last June. She\u2019s facing a grand theft auto charge in Broward court.<\/p>\n
But her criminal history may even extend beyond this decade \u2015 and beyond the state of Florida.<\/p>\n
