LOS ANGELES \u2014 Los Angeles police arrested an Orlando woman after she fired gunshots outside Rihanna<\/a>\u2018s gated home, according to authorities and news reports on Monday.<\/p>\n

No one was injured, police said. It wasn\u2019t immediately clear whether the singer was at home when the shooting happened Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Police received a call about shots fired around 1:15 p.m. in the Beverly Hills area, Officer Charles Miller said Monday. A 35-year-old woman was later taken into custody and investigators recovered a weapon, according to a police statement. The suspect has been booked on suspicion of attempted murder and is in jail on $10 million bail. The district attorney had not yet announced charges.<\/p>\n

The Los Angeles Police Department, in response to a request for comment from the Orlando Sentinel about the incident, identified the suspect as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz. Voter records show Ortiz was registered to vote at Orlando addresses from 2013 through 2016 and 2021 through 2024.<\/p>\n

Ortiz was issued a traffic citation in 2021 for careless driving after getting into a crash in St. Cloud, court records show.<\/p>\n

A Facebook account belonging to an Ivanna Ortiz of Orlando made a post Feb. 17 showing what appears to be a picture of popular music artist Drake, who used to date Rihanna, covering his mouth in shock with a caption reading \u201cWhen Drake found out Rihanna has AIDS.\u201d<\/p>\n

The account made another post Feb. 23 tagging Rihanna\u2019s social media.<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you there? Cause I was waiting for your AIDS 5-head self to say something to me directly instead of sneaking around like you talking to me where I\u2019m not at,\u201d the post read.<\/p>\n

Rihanna is not the first celebrity Ortiz appears to have had an issue with.<\/p>\n

Ortiz filed a court petition in October in Orange County seeking to have a judge prevent a concert by popular singer Billie Eilish from being held at the Kia Center.<\/p>\n

In the petition, Ortiz argued members of the surrounding community would suffer immediate and irreparable harm if the concert was held, including the \u201closs of peaceful enjoyment of property\u201d and \u201cnoise-related medical symptoms for vulnerable residents\u201d such as children and the elderly.<\/p>\n

Miller, the L.A. officer, did not say who lived in the home that was shot at, but multiple local news outlets reported that it belongs to Rihanna. Public records show the property is owned by a trust run by Evan Jehle, who is a member of the advisory board for Rihanna\u2019s Clara Lionel Foundation. Emails seeking comment were left with Rihanna\u2019s publicist and manager.<\/p>\n

KABC-TV showed video of what appeared to be five bullet holes in the front gate of the home.<\/p>\n

\u201cShooting just occurred. Ten gunshots fired from the vehicle,\u201d a police dispatcher told responding officers on audio obtained by KABC. The gunfire came from across the street, police said.<\/p>\n

In 2018, a man was accused of breaking into a different home of Rihanna\u2019s in the Hollywood Hills and spending 12 hours there. The man pleaded no contest to felony counts of stalking and vandalism and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest in 2019. He was sentenced to probation.<\/p>\n

A nine-time Grammy Award winner, Rihanna has 14 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, including \u201cWe Found Love,\u201d \u201cWork,\u201d \u201cUmbrella\u201d and \u201cDisturbia.\u201d She founded the makeup brand Fenty Beauty<\/a> in 2017.<\/p>\n
