Tickets are available for the Captiva Civic Association\u2019s (CCA) next event in a season series.<\/p>\n
The CCA will present its Pot-O-Luck Porch & Patio on March 11 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Captiva Civic Center on Captiva. The St. Patrick\u2019s Day celebration will feature music, food, drinks and fun.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe do it to bring the community together in a joyous celebration of camaraderie,\u201d CCA Director Lauren McCraney said of the Porch & Patio series. \u201cIt\u2019s the second to last one of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Attendees are encouraged to get festive with their attire.<\/p>\n
\u201cSt. Patrick\u2019s Day is always a good time across the world, so why not bring some green luck to Captiva?\u201d she said. \u201cWear your most flamboyant St. Patrick\u2019s Day outfit \u2014 or come as you are.\u201d<\/p>\n
There will be live entertainment.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt will be lively, joyful Irish music, mixed in with popular tunes,\u201d McCraney said.<\/p>\n
Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a throwback to our old Porch & Patios, where there was always a potluck. We\u2019re asking everyone to bring their favorite Irish dish,\u201d she said, noting that people can also bring something non-Irish.<\/p>\n
Complimentary wine, beer and cocktails will be provided.<\/p>\n
