The Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office Community Problem Response Unit arrested 40-year-old Anthony Smokes last month following an investigation into felony charges.<\/p>\n
Detectives went to Smokes\u2019 apartment on Tamaya Boulevard, near Beach Boulevard and Kernan Boulevard, to take him into custody. During the arrest, evidence of drug activity was found, leading to a search warrant for his home.<\/p>\n
The search uncovered:<\/p>\n
613.7 grams of Fentanyl (over 306,000 potentially lethal doses)5,115.84 grams of Methamphetamine244.8 grams of Powder Cocaine53.5 grams of Crack Cocaine153.5 grams of Marijuana1 pistolNearly $45,000 in cash<\/p>\n
Smokes now faces multiple felony charges. Authorities noted this is not his first arrest; he has been arrested nearly two dozen times previously.<\/p>\n
