At No. 1 doubles, <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/murilo-guarniari\/10544\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10544\" target=\"_blank\">Murilo Guarniari<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/edmon-neto\/10552\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10552\" target=\"_blank\">Edmon Neto<\/a> defeated Leyton Dunn and Charles Parnell 6-2. The pairing of <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/augusto-ghidini\/10543\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10543\" target=\"_blank\">Augusto Ghidini<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/matthew-haas\/10551\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10551\" target=\"_blank\">Matthew Haas<\/a> secured the doubles point with a 7-5 win over Caleb McElveen and Horacio Rodriguez at the No. 2 position. Piedmont picked up its lone doubles victory at No. 3, where Mark Backeberg and Rohan Kavali defeated <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/blake-discher-ii\/10541\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10541\" target=\"_blank\">Blake Discher II<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/eric-tien\/10549\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10549\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Tien<\/a> 6-0.<\/p>\n<p>The Little Giants secured the match with five singles victories. Guarniari earned a 6-2, 6-4 win over Dunn at No. 1 singles in his first match in the top position of the lineup. At No. 3 singles, Neto outlasted Parnell 6-4, 7-5, while <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/eduardo-werneck\/10550\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10550\" target=\"_blank\">Eduardo Werneck<\/a> topped Kavali at No. 4, 7-6, 6-2. <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/faustino-dimuro\/10540\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10540\" target=\"_blank\">Faustino Dimuro<\/a> captured a three-set victory at No. 5 singles, defeating Rodriguez 6-1, 3-6, 10-8 in a match tiebreak. <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/samuel-soto-garcia\/10548\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10548\" target=\"_blank\">Samuel Soto Garcia<\/a> rounded out the scoring with a 6-3, 6-3 victory over McElveen at No. 6 singles.<\/p>\n<p>Wabash continued its commanding day in the evening contest, sweeping Illinois Valley Community College (0-3). The Little Giants began the match by claiming all three doubles courts led by the No. 1 tandem of Soto Garcia and Werneck, who defeated Tyson Phillips and Fabricio Barron 6-2. Dimuro and Tien posted a 6-0 victory over Colin Krug and Alan Sifuentes at No. 2 doubles, while Discher II and freshman <a href=\"https:\/\/sports.wabash.edu\/sports\/tennis\/roster\/will-mcardle\/10553\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"10553\" target=\"_blank\">Will McArdle<\/a> matched that score with a 6-0 win against Cory Armstrong and Brodie Moss at No. 3. The match marked McArdle&#8217;s first collegiate appearance in doubles competition.<\/p>\n<p>Wabash continued its strong play in singles by winning all six matches. Werneck earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Phillips at No. 1 singles, marking his first singles appearance in the top position. At No. 2 singles, Dimuro edged Sebastian Cabrera 6-1, 7-6, maintaining his unbeaten record for the 2026 season. Haas posted a 6-0, 6-3 win over Sifuentes at No. 3 singles, while Discher II defeated John Crane 6-1, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. Tien defeated Michael Milota 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles.
