Streets of St. Petersburg<\/a>. The last time the American open-wheel development series competed in Texas was in 2013 on the Streets of Houston.<\/p>\nThe Andretti Global INDY NXT team has put together an impressive record on street courses over the years, with 20 wins, 28 pole positions, 99 top-five finishes and 830 laps led, stretching back to 2009.<\/p>\n

Lochie Hughes will take on the fourth street course race of his INDY NXT career this weekend in Arlington.<\/p>\n
Hughes has secured three top-five finishes on the street racing format in INDY NXT so far (St. Petersburg \u2013 2025 & 2026 and Detroit \u2013 2025), highlighted by a podium result in his 2025 debut in St. Pete.<\/p>\n
Seb Murray<\/p>\n
Seb Murray made his street course debut last season in St. Petersburg. Since then, he has proven to be a fast learner on temporary circuits, securing a sixth-place finish in Detroit (2025) and an INDY NXT career-best fourth place upon his return to St. Petersburg just a couple of weeks ago.<\/p>\n
Murray\u2019s recent performance in Florida also saw him achieve his highest INDY NXT starting position to date (P3).<\/p>\n
Max Taylor<\/p>\n
Coming off a career-best weekend in St. Petersburg, Max Taylor heads to Arlington to make his third INDY NXT start on a temporary street circuit.<\/p>\n
At the 2026 season opener, Taylor claimed his career-first INDY NXT pole and his career-first podium finish.<\/p>\n
Josh Pierson<\/p>\n
Of the current Andretti INDY NXT lineup, Josh Pierson has the most street course racing experience, with seven career starts on temporary street circuits.<\/p>\n
While he most recently scored a top-10 finish in St. Petersburg, his best street-course finish was last year in Detroit, taking the checkered flag in fourth place.<\/p>\n
