The Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. Vero Beach is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.<\/p>\n On Tuesday, Vero Beach didn’t have quite enough to beat John Carroll Catholic and fell 6-4. That’s two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly two runs.<\/p>\n Vero Beach saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Crysaria Joseph<\/a>, who went 1-for-4 with one triple and one run. That triple was Joseph’s first of the season. Kylie Williams<\/a> was another, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, Port St. Lucie fell victim to Legacy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Lions. The Jaguars have now taken an ‘L’ in back-to-back games.<\/p>\n Vero Beach now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Port St. Lucie, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.<\/p>\n Everything went Vero Beach’s way against Port St. Lucie in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Vero Beach made off with a 19-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won’t have the home-field advantage this time around. We’ll see if the change in venue makes a difference.<\/p>\n
