FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. \u2014 One of South Florida\u2019s most terrifying attractions is back. <\/p>\n
Nightmare Village at Xtreme Action Park has returned for the 2025 season with a single, extended haunted experience that promises scares around every corner.<\/p>\n
The park is located at 5300 Powerline Road in Fort Lauderdale. <\/p>\n
This year, instead of the usual three separate haunted houses, visitors walk through one long haunted theater that combines multiple experiences.<\/p>\n
Freddy Hernandez, owner of Xtreme Action Park, said the new setup is designed to intensify the experience. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted to make the experience so much bigger and grander, much more intense, so we thought let\u2019s put all these houses together, with three different experiences,\u201d Hernandez said.<\/p>\n
Inside the haunted theater, guests encounter scare rooms like \u201cThe Final Stitch\u201d and \u201cThe Cellar,\u201d where visitors navigate tight spaces, and \u201cDead and Breakfast,\u201d a creepy motel overrun by vampires. <\/p>\n
The attraction challenges guests to outlast the actors waiting in the dark, often prompting screams and startled reactions. <\/p>\n
Hernandez described Nightmare Village as one-of-a-kind in the region. <\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s nothing like it in South Florida. We are the best, the most intense and the scariest haunted house there is,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
