The Miami Dolphins<\/a> re-signed Greg Dulcich<\/a> earlier in the week, but they weren’t able to get a deal done with Julian Hill, so he became an unrestricted free agent and is now leaving.<\/p>\n

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport,<\/a> Hill is signing with the rival New England Patriots. The Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson clarified<\/a> that the Dolphins offered Hill a deal under the $3.5 million tender, and he turned it down.<\/p>\n

Hill, 25, signed with Miami as an undrafted free agent in 2023 after a five-year collegiate career at Campbell University. He appeared in 45 games and started 26 for the Dolphins over the last three years and caught 33 passes for 288 yards.<\/p>\n

With him gone and Darren Waller still unsigned, the Dolphins only have Dulcich, Jalin Conyers, Cole Turner and Zack Kuntz\u00a0at tight end now. They’ll need to add either a veteran or a draft pick to help Malik Willis in 2026.<\/p>\n
