Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Vero Beach<\/a>). Everything went their way against the Port St. Lucie Jaguars<\/a> on Wednesday as they made off with a 22-3 victory. The Indians haven’t had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.<\/p>\n

Autumn Walker<\/a> made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn’t given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter’s box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.<\/p>\n

In other batting news, Vero Beach got a massive performance out of Miley Torres<\/a>, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Isabella Chambliss<\/a>, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.<\/p>\n
