The venture would comprise 59 apartments, along with 5,000 square feet of commercial space. Standard amenities would include a fitness center, co-working space, and lounge. Exclusive offerings would include an oceanfront swimming pool and two levels of underground parking.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-38581\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Screenshot-2026-03-11-at-7.51.49-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"504\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">The venture would replace some low-rise buildings on the site. Image from Google Earth<\/p>\n<p>As noted, Turks Capital Acquisitions LLC is the developer. The firm owns one of the buildings on the site and has the remainder of the property under contract. The seven-unit Brig O\u2019Doon Condominium, which Turks Capital owns, was constructed in 1951. The other building, a duplex, was built two years later in 1953.<\/p>\n<p>Arquitectonica is the architect; KEITH is the civil engineer. The La Plage at Pompano Beach will be outfitted with exterior lighting meant to protect nesting sea turtles. As of mid-February, the developer hadn\u2019t submitted official site plans. Pompano Beach\u2019s Development Review Committee considered a rezoning and land use amendment on February 18th.<\/p>\n<p>If brought to fruition, the La Plage at Pompano Beach would occupy the 1.29-acre site at 552, 600 and <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/6EaqNumfYUAUphWWA\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">604 N.
